OBA Historian Chuck "Igor" Burin sent these pictures he took from Bronco Fest 99. These are from the first day of the Fest (Friday)... the registration/join up at the PX in the hotel, and the party at Willhoite's that evening.

Vintage Flying Museum
A view of VFM's Big Beautiful B-17, the only flying formation ship. This is one of the planes that would be used for the attack planes to formate upon near the base before leaving on a raid. International Airshow, Alliance Airport

An AH-64 Apache was one of numerous helicopers present.	A nice 2-seat Hawker Hunter.	A T-1A trainer. This biz-jet clone is what bomber and tanker crews fly in before they move up to the actual thing. They also serve as transports on occasion.
One of many black T-38s flown by the Stealth Fighter squadron. Some guys just have all the luck!	A T-38 and a T-45.	A T-45 Goshawk, an advanced carrier training aircraft based on the British BAe Hawk.

This ceramic armor is roughly an inch thick, lightweight, and will stop a 7.62 NATO rifle round at point-blank range. For a detailed view, click here. Here is the name stenciled on the nose... "Lone Star Rising" The story behind the names on some OV-10s are slightly obscure, but they were so dubbed by pilots in the past.
